how to apply
Due to the global economic downturn, Reichstein Foundation is not currently able to accept unsolicited applications for grants. We are using our diminished funds to fulfil our commitments to existing projects and partner organisations.Please do not submit grant applications until further notice.
Applicants are encouraged to discuss their proposal with Christa Momot before submitting an application.
There is no minimum or maximum amount or length of time that groups can seek funding for. However, where the amount sought is more than $30,000 we encourage groups to apply to other sources as well as Reichstein Foundation.

Please use the following headings when writing an application:
The Organisation
1. Name of organisation applying
2. Address of organisation applying
3. Contact person/s
4. Business phone, fax and email address, plus after hours contact / mobile
5. Background (give a summary of the background to the project including the aims of the organisation)
6. Membership of the organisation (say something about the members. Explain how the skills and experience of consumers are included in the project. If there is to be a steering committee that oversees the project, please give the names of those who will be on the committee.)
7. Management structure of the organisation (include names, positions held and any agencies represented)
The Proposal
8. Project title
9. Aims and objectives of the project (describe how the project will contribute to achieving Reichstein Foundation’s mission)
10. The need for the project (explain how the need was identified. Specify the issue that the project will address and detail the evidence.)
11. Why your organisation is best placed to address this need
12. Activities to be undertaken as part of the project
13. Timeline (set out key dates including start and end dates of the project)
14. Expected outcomes (both immediate and longer term)
15. Evaluation (how you will evaluate whether the project is successful or not)
16. Budget (explain how the budget is derived and include the hourly rate for any salaries)
17. Support for the project by other groups or individuals (letters can be attached or sent in at a later date. Support letters need to be from individuals or organisations that will not benefit financially from the grant.)
18. Partnerships or alliances with other groups and networks involved with the project
19. Other funding sources (list the other funders you have applied to for this project)
Applications must not be longer than eight pages, not counting attachments. Number the pages and do not bind the application in a plastic folder.
E-mail the Summary Sheet link to Summary Sheet and application in Word format to: info@reichstein.org.au, and post a hard copy and all attachments to.

Applications cannot be considered until copies of the required documentation from the ATO are received.

The Summary Sheet must be completed and signed by the CEO of the organisation holding the ATO endorsements and must be included with the application.
